Ebay practices are despicable and they are extortionist. Can you tell that I
have a very strong opinion of eBay?

If you want more of my eBay opinion please email me off list.

Subject: Dealing w/ eBay vendors who want non-eBay sale

How do you guys feel about vendors you find on eBay who insist on completing
deals outside of eBay?

I was shopping for a rear engine carrier for my 84 Subie powered van.
Found the listings from Small Car Performance but did not see the 2wd mount.
I asked if they can list one for sale so I can then buy it in compliance
with eBay rules. The SCP contact named Mao, said they would only sell via
their non-eBay website. He/She added they will not be listing the particular
items I inquired about "for some time".
Therefore, I better buy it direct from them. I understand they are trying to
improve their profit margin but it seems a despicable, extortionist
practice from my perspective. How would you feel in my position?

They do list a similar looking mount for the same price but specified for a
Syncro. Does anyone know if there any differences between these mounts?

TIA,

BenT
