Thanks to all for their assistance. Go Westy did provide instructions for the current kits, but expressed concern that I might have had an older kit for which they did not seem to have instructions available. Jake de Villiers kindly provided his set of instructions for the older kits which corresponded less to the components / wire colors that I had than did the 'newer' instructions. So, I went with the newer instructions - installation was straightforward. [though I do take exception with Go Westy's direction to find an 'open' space under the dash to mount their relays......]

All lamps light as desired.

Re:  Why would anyone pay for a 'kit' at much greater expense? TIme, experience, expertise (lacking thereof) might incline a body to go with a pre-packaged, albeit simple kit. Now that I have time, experience and expertise on my side, I would fearlessly offer to help others upgrade their lights!   :)
