That's not an "H" pipe.� It's a main coolant hose coupler with a bleeder valve that's broken off.

I was just going to eBay this H Pipe http://www.feddishbasses.com/vw/hpipe.html when I noticed it looks like something is broken off. My van does not have an H pipe (it's all 1 big hose assembly) so I cannot compare as to what it's supposed to look like. Is this thing junk?
