Then over the course of a week, we both had various commitments so the process was slow. During that week, the real offers came in.... offering market value. My fingers are crossed and my hopes high. -Craig On Tue, Jul 6, 2010 at 10:35 PM, Bernie <berniej@gmail.com> wrote: > Sadly I believe you had made your decision before asking the list for their > opinion. > Everyone I saw, and myself privately, suggested this was not the way to > transact > business. > The seller created a " sense of urgency". > The seller does not have a good reputation. > The seller wants you to take all the risks. > The seller now has your money and you have no signature, no bill of sale > and no vehicle, nor have you laid eyes on the vehicle. > Lastly am I correct in assuming you believe that the seller took > 1/3 of the price he could get for it because he was trying to help you! > Please let us know how things turn out. > > Bernie > > > Sent from my iPad > > On 2010-07-06, at 5:24 PM, craig cowan <phishman068@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > > > I appreciate all the advice, particularly the first half of the advice I > > recieved before buying it at noon.... > > : ) > > > > To be fair, his "bad reviews" were from 2 people, they were frequent, and > > they were resolved.
