Hi all. A while back, I installed a WBX coolant gauge and Low Coolant Warning Unit. I did not check for DTC's at that time. Recently, I'm getting a "Coolant Temp Sensor: Intermittent Short To Ground" DTC. Could the WBX blinking LED in temp gauge at startup (normal), trigger this DTC? A3 Bentley shows the temp gauge portion of sensor consisting of a wire to ground, and a wire to Jetta instrument cluster. But... The sensor housing contains 2 sensors. One for ECU, one for gauge. I doubt there's anything connecting the 2 sensors within the housing, and I don't know how the WBX gauge is wired internally (LED et al), but really can't find fault anywhere else that would create this DTC. This is for an ABA/Motronic 2.9 OBD1 engine swap. Thanks, Neil. -- Neil Nicholson '81 VanaJetta 2.0 "Jaco" http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/ http://groups.google.com/group/vanagons-with-vw-inline-4-cylinder-gas-engines
