A job I would not wish on my worst enemy! A few hours on Saturday, about 5 hours yesterday, and ALL day today. Tow studs snapped off, so I helicoil those. An I am back to all stock hangers/mounting points, the rusty system had about a dozen (not kidding) coat hangers holding it on. Why, this job was so magical that when I started the engine gold fairy dust blew out the tail pipe! (at least now I HAVE a tail pipe) Yeah, sure, it was innards from the cat. Anyway, a short test drive to the store to get wine and nacho fixin's was nice and quiet . Return trip i even listened to the stereo! At least now my wife will be (somewhat) less embarrassed to ride in it!
