what year and model vanagon .. !!!!! ? if it's 2.1 and you think it's the oil buzzer going off .. perhaps it's the turn signal flasher gizmo buzzing. if it's a diesel or a 1.9 wbxr or air-cooled there is no oil buzzer of course. what have you cleaned and inspected ? there are 5 types of vanagons basically. maybe others can just wing it and figure out what model.. or just guess. but it makes a LOT of difference which of the 5 kinds of vanagons it might be. can answer much more intelligently with that basic info. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Zolly" <zolo@FOXINTERNET.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2010 1:49 PM Subject: What the F....- Turn signal buzzer? A friend of mine was clueless as I am about his turn signals. They start working in double speed, then in a couple of seconds the buzzer goes off. What the f...? (he said) I said "yeah". I have no idea. I'll ask my friends online. So, here I am. Even his other side blinkers go double speed, only they don't activate the buzzer. I can't imagine what it comes from. Anyone?
