Subject:Re: Replacing pressure A/C Pressure switch w/o losing Freon

Well, I have no cool air (and no compressor action that I can tell)with the
new switch(but the front fan stays on until the switch is disconnected) and
I DO have cool air(within 30 secs) and compressor action with the OLD
switch(fan acts normally). Just not very cool, but still noticeably cooler.
The A/C guy was the one who said the old switch was bad. I am taking it to
him tomorrow with both switches and see what happens. Not looking good,
though. Maybe the old switch was good and this is the coolest I can expect.
I do have a sag in the a/c tunnel in the rear causing a loss of volume from
the front vents, but thought I could get it cooler.
