Then I need to re-read your Peukert exercise.
Let's see . . . basic equations . . . definition of units . . . mumble,
mumble . . . example with a 7 A/H fridge on one 85 A/H battery . . .
mumble, mumble . . . best case, worst case . . . 2 amps ... mumble,
mumble . . . 25 A/H example showing bigger difference . . . mumble,
mumble . . . then summary . . . oh there it is: "...the larger your load
currents, the more disadvantage there is in drawing from only one
battery at a time."
It's the "one battery at a time" thing that I missed. It's less
efficient to deeply discharge and recharge smaller batteries than to
more lightly discharge and recharge a larger battery.
I /knew/ that old man Peukert would get his messy hand into this. That
guy was a piece of work. Couldn't leave well enough alone.
