Rob, I did pretty well exactly same thing as you... cutting up westy floor into 3 strips and laying down tracks. I never did get a 2 person seat though :) I faced the strips with luan doorskin plywood, thinking someday I'd put cork on top of that. But as it turned out the luan was the floor for about 9 years and it held up ok. I only shellacked it and it was covered by foam pads most of the time, but still it held up better than I coudl have imagined. pics here on my old site http://www.members.shaw.ca/albell/mods5.html cheers alistair On 8-Aug-10, at 8:33 PM, Rob wrote: I put the middle seat in this afternoon and took pictures, The Samba seemed to be a good place to put them so I did. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4762983#4762983 Let's see when I was looking thru the archives for how to do this I searched for "westy rear seat", "westie rear seat install", "rear seat install", "rear tracks", "middle seat install" & "rear seat". <g> Rob becida@comcast.net Western Washington State, USA
