BTW, smogged my beater 2WD Vanagon yesterday in Bloomfield, CO.  The folks in CO have it easy greazy compared to California....they didn't even look in the engine compartment and did not seem to care that I had an ancient aftermarket cat, holes in the exhaust system etc.

Of course, the smog tech was not very bright at all...he originally thought the Vanagon was front wheel drive, I had to show him it was rear wheel drive when he drove it on the rollers.

Lastly, only a $25 fee the door, instead of $50-$80 the shops in California charge...
