I have had the 88ah UB12220 battery system. It worked GREAT for me for a year. Then I started having (unrelated) problems with my charge system. I took the charge system out isolating (and thus not charging) the house battery at all for about a month. In that time (with no load on it), it was determined that it really wasn't holding much of a charge. After another few months (in the car, now with the charge system back on it), it came to the point where they could no longer charge.... the batteries were internally dead (and blowing fuses that I have inline in the charge system, acting as a dead short). Now the battery bank sits at about 4volts each, and is officially "dead". Anyone want them? Free. I'm putting in a Group 41 and just beating the heck out of it. It's cheap, they are easy to replace, and I have a spare. -Craig On Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 10:02 AM, Rocket J Squirrel < camping.elliott@gmail.com> wrote: > On Wed, 2010-09-15 at 20:07 -0600, Bob Stevens wrote: > > [snip] > > Link to installed UB's: > > http://www.flickr.com/photos/syncronaut/sets/72157617217103081/ > > Say -- how come your battery box and chair rails are pretty red?
