Self explanatory. There is only one hatch on a Vanagon.

Mark ... my 3 different-year Vanagon's have all had grey
vinyl covering the hatch. don't know how much "padding"
may be under that, but my current '87 feels like that's minimal,
mostly just vinyl covered. You may want to call Sewfine to see
what they say/recommend, as they redo all of the Vanagon
interior and will definitely have suggestions/recommendations.
