re
Any advice ?

speakers that are old or have sat in wrecked cars.....or dusty back
shelves.... ..
pretty iffy proposition.
If you luck out and find some good ones...great.

but 'usually' one doesn't think of automotive junkyards as a source for
decent/usable stereo speakers.

'junkyard speakers' refers to speakers from a junkyard ?
or is a new term for a special use speaker ..
like say 'tailgate speakers' might be ?

you find 'em where you find 'em, but used speakers are usually worse than
used tires.
got a box of 'em ..
what size would you like ?
