Ours is about to be parked for the
winter once the bearing is dealt with so we get seven months of Vanagon
Withdrawal Syndrome.

I can relate... . The van gets a warm garage this winter though, so I can at least do some upgrades. Fall is just about over here, and the snow will be here in a few weeks. <sigh>
