Hello Folks, I have a bunch of pieces from a disassembled Syncro trans and hope to identify them properly. I've never taken a transmission apart and not embarrassed to admit my lack of knowledge with regards to these parts. http://picasaweb.google.com/syncro/SyncroTransParts?authkey=Gv1sRgCPjJnqTJg-SlvwE&feat=directlink Guessing the brass ring with teeth is the synchro slider. It appears in undamaged condition. I see the gear sets sit inside each other when they are installed. Which gear is which? The shaft (sorry, don;t know exact term) has what appears to be a weld of some sort. Does that belong there as possibly part of the assembly? Or is that damaged? These came from a trans with locking diff. The locker sat in a bucket full of water for an extended period. The bearings are rusted solid. No pics of this part. There are plans to bead blast that part and bearings replaced if it is still in usable condition. I eventually will sell these off once properly identified. TIA, -- BenT
