Same thing applies to Ventura, CA. You can't drive anywhere in this town without trippin' over a half dozen or more any day of the week. This applies up the coast into Santa Barbara and down the coast into Malibu and Santa Monica. Vanagons & Westys everywhere, with many EV Campers and Rialtas tossed into the mix. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" 75 914 1.8 "Nancy" Full Timing Since March 1999 oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Fri, Oct 1, 2010 at 12:02 PM, Aristotle Sagan <killer.jupiter@gmail.com>wrote: > And you find this unusual? > > The bay area is filled with Vanagons. > > Aachen Germany has so many, it's hard to walk to dinner without passing > four > or five (if you are paying attention).
