I love the m. cycle spray chain lube. The black stuff? Worked great for me on the hinges and sliders of paddock gates. Stayed in place in the rain. BTW I put it on my shift linkage too. alistair On 3-Nov-10, at 7:09 PM, Richard Koerner wrote: Yes, some good savvy on WHERE to put lubricant and WHICH KIND would be welcome advice for everyone on the List. For instance...I was thinking about what you (Turbovan Scott) said regarding shifter linkage; I have a spare spray can of foaming motorcycle chain lube....would that be wrong or right in this circumstance? I used 3- in-1 oil on the felt pad in the distributor, because it's easy to dispense a drop or 3 and was handy...dumb? Rich San Diego
