To be clear I installed a new Jetta gas engine (stock) oil filter.
i.e. didn't just use the old one. Though not the brand I wanted. Car
Quest "Blue" brand. Their "uptown" version.  Maybe a Wix?

T'was late in Coos bay so did the best I could for parts.   :)
