RE: Trailers
Ever since I saw one for the first time on a Bus (and now I've seen them on
Vanagons) I've figured the perfect trailer solution with a Vanagon would be
one of the single wheel/swivel wheel trailers.   Always perfect tracking and
you can back them up!  Examples here:

One of our WetWesties members just picked up one like these at a yard sale
last Spring, apparently from Sears, was marked 'Craftsman'.
