# 12 is ordinary 5/8th generic heater hose.

# 13, not shown very well in the diagram,
is 5/8ths at the T for the rear heater,
but coming off the forward end of the right cylinder head..
it's larger than that.
That hose, # 13 is a special hose just for that application.
last time I bought one it was
75 bucks or so.  Fortunately still avaiable.
there are cheater ways around that though..
in various places on VW's they use a hose that starts out large and drops to
5/8ths.
and you can find one at a FLAPS that'll work if you can get them to let you
have access to their hoses.
