I just replaced the ignition switch in my '85 about a month ago, and as I posted here the replacement switch I ordered from a vendor here was missing two connections when compared to the old one. Only one connection matched up to a wire in the harness. Ever since then the key buzzer has not worked, so I am assuming that was the missing connection from the new switch. My '90 Westy doesn't have/never has had since I've owned it a 'key in' or seat belt buzzer. I've always just assumed it was pulled or disabled by the PO. But I don't even know what or where to look to see what was done. I'm assuming (and gather from discussions on the lists) that it involves a relay w/buzzer? On the fuse block? If so, what position? Not sure I want to replace it, just curious.
