A few years ago, I spun out on some ice and hit a guide rail. Not a ton of damage, but there is a dent in the nose (corner) that resulted in the paint being chipped off. I was going to fix it, but it's been years.... and I plan to use this van as a donor soon. Anyway, I went and found some bandaids, and put them over the "scar". I have to replace them from time to time, but they are quite funny. They start many conversations. Just slap a bandaid on it, and embrace the story. -Craig '85GL turned WESTY BOSTIG in the back '87 SUNROOF Syncro On Sun, Nov 14, 2010 at 6:50 PM, Jack R. <jack007@comcast.net> wrote: > Jeff, > > I had a "deer miss" with my 84 Westy a few years back... and was thankful > not to have any damage... within inches of my van! > > I have heard mixed "signals" (pun intended) on the deer whistles, and if > they are even worth it as cheap as they are. > Found this study on-line. > http://www.bioacoustics.uconn.edu/reports/ARLOManuscript326%20FINAL.pdf > > Anyone have success with these?
