Regulator icing up is usually a sign that liquid propane is getting in to it. The expansion is causing the refrigeration effect like an expansion valve on an AC system. Tank overfill or severe off level. If the regulator cannot handle the flow that can also be an issue. The regulator should be a two stage type to further prevent liquid from getting to the appliance. I did notice when I first tryed to run it tonight it did not light and I got the red light flashing 2 times. then I tryed to light my burner and got no propain smell or gas to the burner. I went out and tapped on the regulator with a rubber hammer. and the gas to the burner started flowing. then i re started the heater and it lit. so i know the regulator was an issue in the begining..... Let me know what you think. Thanks Danny C. Portland, Oregon '84 Westy (Vanny)
