Karl, What do you mean by full pipes? Does Altitude affect propane pressure? SLC is pretty high (up there ;o) And at least to me, it seems that propane just doesn't start as well in extremely sub freezing temps? Would it help to keep the tank full(er) or does that matter? PS: Nice little units those propex! Just bought one not too long ago! ________________________________ From: Karl Mullendore <tdiguru@WESTYVENTURES.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Thu, November 25, 2010 9:07:46 AM Subject: Re: Propex heater or regulator On Thu, 25 Nov 2010 09:02:11 -0700, Robert Stevens <mtbiker62@GMAIL.COM> wrote: >For whatever it's worth, my Propex just started up on its 3rd cycle-try. >It's 16 degrees in the van here in Salt Lake. >bob Bob, we need to connect when I come through the area this winter. It shouldn't need three tries. I forget - do you have the full pipes on this and running stock 11-wci gas pressure? These two seem to be very important for reliable starts. Karl
