I recently changed out a radio myself, wiring the power and hot
leads together the way my old Sony had been-  wrong!  The damned thing
draws about a third of an amp whether the face of the radio's been
removed or not.

  Since I'm not using the bus on a daily basis, and it's been
unseasonably cold here in Atlanta, (in fact, it's snowing at the
moment) for right now I'm taking the lazy way out by yanking fuse #3.
Braille method works for me.
