We made it down to Santa Cruz, went across the Richmond-San Rafael
Bridge and down the east bay just because it had been years since I
went that way. It will be years before I do that again... I'll stick
with the GG bridge.

Finally saw another VW, it was a white Vanagon going north by Lucas
Valley in Marin Co. Saw another bay before we got to Santa Cruz and 4
vanagons (3 were westys), one bay Westy and an early bus with the
small rear window in Santa Cruz.

Weather still good, not nearly as cold last night as the preceding
nights. I checked the weather guess for Lake Havasu, sunny and 70 on
Friday, we're ready!

Still not sure where to go today but we were here for the
granddaughters 1st birthday yesterday and that was the last
"scheduled" stop before Lake Havasu.

Oh well, we'll decide before we get too far down the road (Hwy 1?
Santa Barbara? Direct line?). I went to
http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx to check gas
prices, lot's cheaper out of California....
