Subject:Sorry, Another Question On the Audi Wheels

OK, after all this, and finding a machine shop 30 miles away that would do the rims, I called the machine shop again that is only 3 miles from my house/ This is the one that would do them, but wants me to leave the van. I asked them again if they would do it if I just brought them the rims and the grease cup. They said yes. So, I get home and throw the rims in my work truck to drop off tomorrow and pry the grease cup off the passenger side wheel to take with me. For the fun of it, I test fit it in the rim I had been grinding down myself- it fit perfectly. It did not fit on the drivers side, which of course has the speedo cable connection. Soooooo, at this point I can assume the grease cup on the drivers side is larger than the one on the passengers side? I've had over 80 cars in my 52 years, and probably put different or aftermarket rims on 30 of them and never had this much to deal with. Now I know why I left stock wheels on my other vanagons! Jeff
