the only 11's I can think of on the whole van are the brake drum retaining screws, as mentioned already ... and there two per rear wheel of course. That thread is barely used on vangons ..it's a 7 mm diameter bolt thread, of a pretty fine pitch. and brake lines.. 11mm on those ...12mm on the clutch hydraulics I think. otherwise no 11's anywhere I believe. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marius Strom" <marstrom@MICROSOFT.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, January 21, 2011 2:06 PM Subject: Re: VW Necessity... I think the original ground strap (at least on mine) was a 10mm to the battery terminal. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Alistair Bell Sent: Friday, January 21, 2011 9:44 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: VW Necessity... lucky 13. which reminds me that I think I came across a 11 mm bolt/nut on the van recently, forget where. But I don't think its that common, right? alistair On 21-Jan-11, at 9:33 AM, Angus Gordon wrote: > ...not just on Fridays - > > http://www.wordless.me/2011/01/blog-post_21.html > > > Angus Gordon > Bainbridge Island WA
