Looks like a nice and fairly cheap way to deal with a dash that is sun ravaged. At the last Bug Out in Manassas I saw an absolutely gorgeous Westy, the owner told me he had dropped 40K into it. Suby conversion, flawless paint, nice 16" wheels, dark tinted windows. It was a 9.9 out of 10-the only flaw was the dash was trashed, cracked and peeling up . Tough competition that day, he took 3rd place! My recently purchased $3,100.00 '85 Weekender didn't stand a chance that day when a 40K Westy takes 3rd place! But, the guy said he'd like to have my dash, as it looked better than his! What kind of trimming is necessary? I think the deluxe dash consoles are currently out of stock.
