MJ, I would just do as Dennis suggests and sell your 1.9l P&Cs to get the 2.1l set. I actually have some of the Chinese sets for $310 normally. I could do $280 for a set for you. That would be stock or we even have a 96mm oversized version for a little more HP. I know for a fact that several of the high end engine shops here in the US that do performance waterboxers, use these exact sets in their engines (I have sold them to them myself). So even though they are from China, they are excellent quality and very affordable. Let me know if you want to go this way. -- Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com Phone: 856-327-4936 Fax: 856-327-2242 On 2/6/2011 11:36 PM, M. My understanding of the difference between 1.9 and 2.1 liners is only in the pistons. The cylinder bores and possibly the rings are identical. > > I believe it is about time to reseal my 2.1 cylinder heads. I may take this opportunity to renew the cylinders and all the rings. I don't want a full rebuild at this time.
