Hello Everyone,

I am having a strange issue that you might have an idea what the heck it is.

I have an 88 Wolfsburg Automatic. It started to recently make a strange static type sound coming from the Dash. Sort of sounds like a slight buzz, it comes a goes. I have heard what electrical shorts sound like before and it has a different sound.

All the electrical components are working fine. It just starts and stops on its own.

I have a strange gremlin here, not sure what to make of it.

Any ideas?

Anyone heard of this before?

I know this is a strange one diagnose but I thought I would give it a try.
