Subject:ECU shock, was Spare ECU

I'm not sure if the ECU we have attached to the body of the car is the best
way to carry it. Does not it get all the anwanted shock of the road and
makes the unit broken in time? Would not it be wiser to have it on a padded
surface rather? Something like a thick foam. Or is it not necessary?

If I might make a suggestion. Place your spare ECU in a nice padded and
protected container lest damage occur in transit.
