That was my experience as well.  I really like Discount and like the free servicing and usually get the road hazard protection, but I think they can only match prices to a certain point.  I found 14" BFG ATs for $108 vs $129 at Tirerack when I was looking.  Discount was able to come close but I still ordered them online and had Discount put them on.

I have had mixed results at all the tire stores but mostly positive at Discount.  Maybe it depends how well the store is doing, or who is managing the store or who knows.
