FYI  the "new" engine is rebuilt and installed in the Vanagon.  If you hear a loud bang sometime Wednesday it will be head exploding after firing the "new" engine up and discovering a crank sticking out of the side of the case!  Keep your fingers crossed.

After having the AC compressor off the replacement engine for four months, I am presuming I have to replace the evaporator as it will now be full of good old Florida humidity..  Can I buy these anywhere or is it a hunting quest?  And - where is the little beastie?
