Good lord an Ossa? I used to race against those guys on my Montessa Capra VR 250!!! Those and Husquies, and those &^*^&%!!!!! Elsinores when they showed up and kicked all our butts! :-) Ah those were the good old days. Remember Maico's that could dig a trench with that back tire and big knobby?? (Van content) That was when the first Type 4 engines were just coming out in the Bay windows. ;-) Courtney ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Always be yourself, because the people that matter don't mind, and the ones who mind, don't matter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Daniel - Turbovans" <scottdaniel@TURBOVANS.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Saturday, March 12, 2011 1:49 PM Subject: Re: Castor oil as lubricant >I used to race a 250 Ossa motorcycle in TT dirt track racing .. > the exhasut smelled just wonderful, intoxicating even, with the castor two > stroke oil we ran. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "John Rodgers" <inua@CHARTER.NET> > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Saturday, March 12, 2011 10:37 AM > Subject: Castor oil as lubricant > > >> I Googled for the subject above and got all kinds of hits.
