keep in mind there are two styles of 1.9 throttle body .. depending on which switch arrangement it has. it Susie's has a throttle shaft leak or wear there .. would be a surprise to me. I have many waterboxer throttle bodies .. no real shaft wear on any of them that I've noticed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karl Wolz" <wolzphoto@Q.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, March 16, 2011 12:35 PM Subject: Re: An intro and Throttle Body leak question > Real good chance somebody convenient to Susie has a known good TB that > could > be easily attached for testing purposes, or am I the only one who has > enough > spare parts to create a Frankenvan? > > Karl Wolz > > |-----Original Message----- > |From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf > Of > |Andrew Martin > |Sent: Wednesday, March 16, 2011 11:33 AM > |To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > |Subject: Re: An intro and Throttle Body leak question > | > |Susie and "Butters" are located in the Seattle area. > | > |If there are no listees available to assist, George at PorBug has an > |excellent reputation and Larry's Roadhaus recommended repair shops page > |confirms this. > | > |http://www.roadhaus.com/shops_search_map.php?state_id=47 > | > | > |Andrew > |Bainbridge Island WA > | > | > | > |-----Original Message----- > |From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf > Of > |Karl Wolz > |Sent: Wednesday, March 16, 2011 10:15 AM > |To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > |Subject: Re: An intro and Throttle Body leak question > | > |You don't say where you are.
