RE: The Westy in a Disaster
Any of us living inside a major metropolitan area are much more likely to be
stuck in place, for all the reason already mentioned.  So don't be stupid
like I was a few years ago when a severe (for this area) snow storm took out
power for 36 hours (at my place, days longer for others around Puget Sound)
and when you go out to your Westy to fire up the Propex and make a pot of
coffee and find that the propane tank was empty!  Now I don't worry about
aggravating the guy that fills the propane tank when it only takes less than
half a tank when I have it topped off.
