I don't believe that I have ever seen this oil discussed on the list.

I have inherited a couple of cases of Kendall GT 1 High Performance
20W50 and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it where
Vanagons are concerned. The oil came with the '91 Carat I got a little
while back. I'm assuming that is what was run in the van, so have an
interest in staying with that oil - IF it has a good performance
reputation where WBX engines are concerned.  I did just a bit of reading
on it and found comments that todays Kendall is not yesterdays Kendall

Any input is apprecaiated.
