I stand on a medium tall stool to work on the roofs of vanagons. I always at least polish and wax my non-westy roofs. Not hard to reach the middle of the roof from either side that way. you could remove the wheels/tires and put it on short jackstands or blocks to get it closer to the ground too. those are after all, 'variable altitude' removable parts - the wheels and tires. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Rodgers" <inua@CHARTER.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Saturday, March 19, 2011 8:47 PM Subject: Re: Painting done, now see the movie.... > In other words - prepping and painting the top is going to be a royal > PITA! > > John > >> John Rodgers >> Clayartist and Moldmaker >> 88'GL VW Bus Driver >> Chelsea, AL >> Http://www.moldhaus.comRent or build some scaffold. >> no, seriously. >> >> Don Hanson >> >> On Sat, Mar 19, 2011 at 7:52 PM, John Rodgers<inua@charter.net> wrote: >> >>> Yes, good job!!
