Is it Friday. large impact economically ..yes. they'll bounce back though . Immediately there was talk that it will be good for Japan's economy .. the massive recovery effort...the aid pouring in etc. I think the lesson is ..............this level of disaster could happen in many places .. whether earthquake, volcano ( imagine if it was Mt. Rainier that blew right next to Tacoma Wa, instead of ST. Helens ) ....or tsunamis etc. . and that nuclear power plants can get seriously and dangerously messed up. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Rodgers" <inua@CHARTER.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2011 4:13 PM Subject: Japans Nuclear Problems > Has anyone thought about what this is going to do to the US in terms > of affecting the economic recovery, cost of manufactured goods, I-pad, > iphones, plus other electronic gadgetry we use on or with our vans. > Laptops, etc. What's going to happen to the price of used Suburu > engines some of us plan to install one day?
