Subject:Re: 2wd Limited Slip

VW classic parts does sell a factory clutch pack style LSD for about 1500
euro's...
I have installed well over a hundred of the LSd's front and/or rear.
I have the Peloquins Locking LSD's front and rear in my Syncro. Haven't had
to lock it up for 2 years and generally can make it up my ski hill or the
long steep hill to my place in rear wheel drive only. That's gotta say
something about how well they work in snotty slimy NW Cascade concrete snow.
With the front end coupled in, it goes anywhere I have needed to go.
I have built a few 2wd lockers thru the years and they work pretty slick.
With a locker LSD, they will go just about anywhere a Syncro can go.

Check the archives. There's been much discussions here about the limited
slip offered by Daryl at AATransaxle.com. IIRC, it's the same one the
various listvendors are selling.

Other discussions here also touched on adding a full locker from a Syncro to
a 2wd trans.

you have one, please post your experiences too. Thanks Dave
