The passenger seat in my 87 Syncro GL (bought used in 2003) didn't have the same range of fore/aft adjustment as the driver's seat. After the brute force method failed, an inspection revealed the culprit - a shotgun shell lodged into the seat track! ----- Original Message ---- From: Don Hanson <dhanson928@GMAIL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Mon, March 28, 2011 10:31:40 AM Subject: Re: History in a glovebox and a build sheet question On Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 6:56 AM, Joe Luther <jluther@alfons-haar.us> wrote: > I was sorting through the papers in the glovebox of my 1983 Vanagon and in > with what I thought were the papers for the Behr AC unit were a few > documents. I found a crack pipe under the rear seat of a VW bug I got recently. I bought it (the Bug) from a nice respectable-looking attractive young lady in very conservative blue-collar The Dalles, Oregon.
