We'll be attending a seminar in North Charleston in mid-May and were planning to camp and explore the area leading up to the seminar days, but there do not seem to be any places to camp.� One county park is mentioned but nothing more about its camping venue is available.� Roadhaus.com has nothing for the entire state.

The tourist bureau info package has nothing on camping (plenty on golf, however) but a big-bucks-per-night RV park.� I used to work for a SC-based company and have my own ideas about the
place going back many years, but wonder if fellow listees could
possibly recommend a nice place for a Westy couple to plant themselves for a few days.� We may wind up driving the Civic and plushing it at a motel in town, instead.
