A reminder that we still have that way-below-cost closeout deal on the Bosch
version of those Hellas, which are comparable to the Hellas if not better.
They are considered the gold standard among Bus owners, whose lighting is
about the same as on the Vanagon. .(See the review at

they are not just half price but actually WAY below wholesale.

Any of these solutions will DRAMATICALLY improve your lighting for not a lot
of money.  Actually, in terms of "bang for the buck," I can't think of any
other performance improvement you could make to your Vanagon that would make
