Since the mid 60s, I've done the same thing for every VW I own and even my 04 KIA Spectra EX. Just force of habit I guess. But it would be nice to have the mileage figures at a moment's notice in the palm of my hand. Notebook(s) go with the car(s) when sold. Notebooks are cheaper at Target or Wally World- Staples & Office Depot are TOO much $$ :) -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" 75 914 1.8 "Nancy" Full Timing Since March 1999 oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Tue, Apr 5, 2011 at 11:18 AM, Chris S <szpejankowski@gmail.com> wrote: > I keep a small spiral-bound notebook in the glove box where I log every fill > up, maintenance and repair.
