Depends on the stuff you put on. I've found that a nylon disk on my 4" grinder takes it off (as well as paint) very quickly. -- Matt Thyer > Date: Mon, 25 Apr 2011 16:55:23 -0400 > From: szpejankowski@GMAIL.COM > Subject: Re: Truck Bed Liner > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > How hard is the stuff to get off? > > Chris. > > Wysane z iPhone'a > > Dnia Apr 25, 2011 o godz. 11:04 Larry Himli <lhimli@AOL.COM> napisa(a): > > > It's been awhile since I added anything to the forum. I had my 87 westy mothballed for a couple years and recently decided to clean it up and take a trip from WI to FL. I had remembered a post where someone had used truck bed liner paint on their Vanagon. I didn't have major rust damage but lots of scratches, etc. So I prepped it without spending weeks and used Herculiner on it. You do it in two coats within four hours. I couldn't be happier with the results. I taped it off and applied it from just above the three covered boxes on the driver's side all the way down including the front. Just wanted to share how happy I am with the results. By the way, 1,600 miles down to Sarasota without a hint of trouble.
