All these things are amusing, I guess. But, we should keep in perspective a few things about geology, oil, and industry.

1. Dinosaurs were terrestrial, or in some cases semi-aquatic, but not marine, critters.
2. Petroleum is a product of long-term anaerobic degradation and pressure acting on marine, not terrestrial or freshwater, deposits.
3. The main contributors by mass to any ecosystem are not large animals. In fact, they contribute only a very minor fraction. The big contributors are microbial, including bacteria and algae.
4. Motor oil, whether synthetic or not, is produced from petroleum. For the synthetic, there are more steps between the raw stuff and the product, but it does come from petroleum.
5. At any rate, given the origin of petroleum, dinosaur tissues contributed essentially nothing to its formation. And so, that goes for motor oil, whether synthetic or otherwise. Certainly, the derisive "dino oil" is a complete misnomer.
