I have a bit of a funky knee, and it would be helpful if I could move
the seat back a bit - just driving around town I can feel it on my
knee, in the long run it may cause damage.  On a couple of other cars
I've just unbolted the tracks and moved them back 4-6" - but it seems
that on my Vanagon, the track is an integral part of the box the seat
is attached to.  Any suggestions, known fixes/mods that can change
this.  I have no problem fabricating anything, I weld, etc.
