As someone who has had to build Mains-operated products for use around the world, I would like to interject here that standard voltage in the British Isles, and some of their former holdings, was 240 volts, not 220. 220 was found on the Continent and in plenty of other places around the world. The harmonization of standards in the '90s split the difference to 230v. That British refrigerator might be 240, it might be 230, but it would not be 220 unless it was intended for use elsewhere. This might not make any difference, I know nothing about the voltage compliance of a refrigerator. I'm just tossing out a bit of information. -- Rocky J Squirrel On Sat, 2011-04-30 at 17:13 -0700, BenT Syncro wrote: > I'll be dismantling an English build camper box from a Landrover Defender 130. The camper has been used very little and same for the fridge and stove. I have not checked but I'm sure it's a 3-way if not 2-way powered. Maybe someone here is going abroad where 220V is standard? > > Looks like a Westy fridge but may be slightly taller. I was going to use for a custom camper for my Doka.
